The 5-inch smoke & CO alarm is easy to install with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket and meets the requirements of 9th Edition UL 217, UL 2034 4th Edition, FCC, and CSFM.

This 2-in-1 detection device alerts you to both smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) using an electrochemical sensor. Voice alerts clearly announce "Fire!" or "Warning Carbon Monoxide!" to help identify the detected hazard, and the interconnectable LED warning lights indicate the alarm status.

When one alarm sounds, they all sound, so you can get out faster. The self-testing feature ensures the alarm is always operating as expected, and the 3 LED notifications (green for normal operation, amber for operating error, red for smoke or CO detection) provide visual feedback.

The Kidde Hardwired Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detector comes with a 10-year warranty, beginning when the alarm is powered on. If the installation date is unknown, it should be assumed that the alarms should be replaced after 10 years.
